Then estrogen dominance interferes with the release of cortisol from the adrenal glands, making free cortisol unavailable to fight stress.  It’s a vicious circle.&quot; I am wondering is using a progesterone cream (the kind available at the health food store) would help??? I&#039;ll have to look into this -- thanks for the info. Also, I am interested in the idea of timing meals and snacks to balance blood sugar and cortisol production.
